I don't know that I've ever been able to say anything like this before, but, since the end of February 2011 I HAVE LOST 103 POUNDS! Like most out there, the pounds originally snuck up on me. One day I was 50 pounds heavier than 5 minutes ago it seemed. My journey is not over, but I wanted to tell you about some of my discoveries.
My friends at Shanti Wellness Centre, Badur and Zaheen, told me about this great new diet that would be the last diet I would ever be on. Yeah, I was skeptical, but then I would remember telling myself "It has taken me 48 years to weigh my heaviest, and I can put up with a lot to get it off if only I didn' have to wait years for it to happen." Well, funny thing, I didn't have to put up with much at all. It is fun. It is fast! It is easy. Within one week I was off my Gastric Reflux medication. It was amazing to be able to sleep through a night and not be woken up during the night with that horrible burning taste in my throat. Every time I get a craving, Ideal Protein comes out with something that is just right to counteract it. First it was my coffee. I had to be able to keep that up. On Ideal Protein, I have my coffee craving well in hand! Then it was craving dairy, my morning yogurt. Ideal Protein brings out a Wild Berry Yogurt Drink. Nummy! Then it was starting to remember and crave my Dill Pickle chips. Yup, you got it, Ideal Protein brings out Dill Pickle chips. There are communities out on the web too that help by printing recipes that they have found or created. They're excellent! You don't get to be bored on Ideal Protein, all you have to do is look around or ask and you can have a variety of tasty AND easy recipes that help you lose weight.
Not long after I started this diet, my energy skyrocketed too. I'm running up and down stairs and from one end of the building to the other at work and not even breathing heavy now! Soon I had to start bugging Badur and Zaheen to let me do some exercises too because I just had too much energy in me to stay still. Yet another situation I could never imagine happening only 10 months ago. Oh, and another amazing fact I found out. For whatever reason, this diet is the only one I have EVER been on that seems to also target my behind and thighs. I actually am getting a bottom and look good in straight-legged jeans.
All I can say is, TRY IT. What little you feel you are missing is only a drop in the bucket of time. And since Ideal Protein has so many tasty items, crunchy foods, salty foods, spicy foods, smooth and rich foods, and specially for us women.. chocolate!!! you really never end up feeling deprived. Soon you'll be addicted to seeing the healthy you revealed under that excess weight.
