Recipe 22 - 😋 🍔 These bison burgers are a flavorful change to beef burgers. If you haven’t tried bison before, this is a good recipe to get started with!

When you cook them, be sure to keep a close eye on them because they take less time than beef, and can become dry if they get overcooked.

What You'll Need

Makes 4 servings

  • 1 lb. (450 grams) lean ground bison
  • 1 tsp each: mustard, pink Himalayan salt, freshly ground black pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder
  • 1-2 dashes hot sauce
  • Avocado oil for cooking

What To Do

Mixthe seasonings into the ground bison in a large bowl.

Make4 x half-inch (1.25 cm) thick patties out of the meat and spice mixture.

Preheatyour heat source (grill, stove, etc.) to medium-high. Brush or coat your pan orgrill with avocado oil. Grill the burgers for about 4 minutes on each side formedium doneness. (or cook to your desired temperature)
