QUICK SESAME KALE

Recipe 15 - šŸƒšŸ¾ā™€ļøšŸ„¬ Iā€™ve got a fast & easy recipe for you today that was designed to be used with kale ... but it actually works with any leafy green (spinach, Swiss chard, etc.).

Itā€™s hearty and delicious ā€“ try serving this side dish with your favorite steak or chicken. Itā€™s also great with a poached egg on top!

What You'll Needā€

Makes 4 servings

  • 1 bunch of kale
  • 1 shallot, minced
  • 1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp coconut aminos
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

What To Do

Remove ribs and stems from kale leaves and chop the leaves. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add shallot and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes, until it starts to soften.

Add the leaves a little at a time, tossing to coat with oil. When they are wilted (2-3 minutes), add the garlic, sesame oil, and coconut aminos. Cook until all the leaves are wilted, another 3-4 minutes. Taste and add salt and pepper if desired.

So delicious! šŸŒŸ
